Capsule front side selection for best audio
extensive circuitry modification and componentry upgrade of mic amp
custom -biasing of new low-noise selected fet
upgrading of all relevant audio leads with audiophile-grade wiring (GAC3-lead material)
redesigning of low end eq curves
extensive fine tuning and matching of capsule characteristics with amp response and performance application.
There is some more paperwork showing eq curves ect that comes with the mic.

Thanks for the PCM60. Came straight home and pluged it in. Works beautifully.

To everyone else. Ben is a great guy and knows his gear. If you were to buy any gear off him you will not be dissapointed.

PS. I was holding his modded U87 today. mmmmmmmmm...... maybe I could sell the car??????

I am in to JLM actually. My JLM lunchbox is the most used piece of gear i have these days. Would i love to get my hands on some 99V's.
I just have so much gear i have collected over the years and to be honest all the bits and pieces here are just the things i don't use any more.
Funny i never thought i would sell it all but its collecting dust and the JLM mastering console and another VMA are really tempting me.

If that's all it is than all is good, I was getting worried you were doing a shut down.
The 99v are very nice, I'm just waiting for the NV500, hope it arrives today.
May have to find some money and get into some of your gear. What else is going?

NV500 looks interesting. I was thinking about another 500 rack with a few 99's and some NV's i must call Joe when i get back home.
I think thats about it for the gear sale with the exception of a bunch more low-end mics and perhaps a voxbox or two.
I do love my manley gear also and am not sure i can part with any of it.
nIC you obviously have some of Joe's peq's are you as taken with them as me. I would like one for every input on my console.
Those things just make me sound good.

Yes I love all of Joe's gear, I'm slowly replacing all my 500 series modules with JLM...... so far I have
3 x 99v
2 x PEQ
1 x TG
soon the NV
I'm a big fan, the guy doesn't talk crap.
