hi all... a client of mine wants to get his hands on a 335 or similar hollow body style to rent for a few days (recording only, won't leave the studio).

can anyone help him out? he'll pay whatever it's worth.

If I was in "Atlantis" or you were closer (north of Sydney) I could probably assist, unfortunately, the distance and associated costs would make the exercise prohibitive.

Surely there's an Atlantean (sp) somewhere that can help out.

Sorry Wes. Sold my ES335 (1964 ) in the late 80's.Still kicking myself.
Tell him he should play a Strat anyway.!
Who's he trying to be. Lee Rittenour or Larry Carlton?

Dam straight! Thats why i bought the 335 in the 1st place. You just can't get that sound with a strat. " King Island Cream Distortion" with endless sustain is what i call it. I could sound like them but gave up trying to play like them after a few years and decided to be myself. Still it was a worthwile exercise.
Besides Jeff Baxter plays a strat so thats a good enough reason....ramble ....ramble...typed a few words had a coffee, ears have had a rest...back to work
