Gday all
this may be an obvious question for many but,
I scored an old balancing amp - it was one of those 'why not its cheap as' purchases and I do know it turns a balanced signal into unbalanced and vv. My question is what sort of application would I need this in? Are they good for anything else?

Also good for DIY if you want to make an EQ, compressor or whatever - most of these run off unbalanced signals so the amp provides your real world interface. JLM has the DINGO kit to do the same thing.
