I have been offered a Zephyr ribbon Mic, by a person I hold in a high regard, and I am just wondering what information people could give me about them

as far as I am aware, Australian made, not a big bottom end.

what would one of these be worth?

any information would be gretaly apreciated

cheers Simon

Hey Simon,
Its worth what ever your willing to pay i think. Just one of those types of items. I have a few old zephyrs and they kick ass. Not sure about the 30rd as I have never heard one but hey, if the price is right then go for it.

I'm looking at landing an older Shure 330 ribbon shortly..
Sounds like it would be nice (especially if mixed with another mic)
See how it goes I guess..

Sound wise mine was nothing special,....... fairly ordinary sounding really so only used as an "effect" sounding mic.
