7 slot Magma with 4 x UAD cards
Works perfect. Cards come with project pack worth of plug ins. Will transfer ownership of cards from UA after purchase.

At least you got past the number of the beast.
I thought it interesting your post about PoorTools came with the devils number. Make sure your 777 post is about Nuendo... :-)
I'm not driving tonight.

Have you tested it yet Pete or do you still need the mobo sorted out?
I had it running with the MOBO before it died. Heaps of power. All my projects ran comfortably off the UAD-2 and the magma with the UAD-1s wasn't being touched. So she has to go.
I'll be upgrading the MOBO and CPU to the new i7 core. Might as well considering a replacement Tyan is about $850.

Yeah might as well, that system will be awesome. Dunno what my next pc will be AMD or Intel, might as well flip a coin. I think the new intels are faster are they not?

For sure. The new Intel I7 core is killing AMD at the moment. That's why i'll switch.

May consider seperating cards from Magma.
By the way it's a 3 slot rack mountable Magma.

Last price drop before Ebay. $1400.
That's $300 per UAD card and $200 for a perfect nic 4 unit rack space 7 slot PCI 32 bit Magma chassis.
This is a bargain.

This is an awesome deal. If I didn't have all my UAD's I'd be all over it. (I have no affiliation with Pete at all, don't even know him)
