Anyone downloaded it yet from Waves.
Apparently you get it for free for 1 year.
I downloaded and it sounds just as good as Amplitube 2 but it stuffed up my Waves enabler version so I lost som plug-ins. I really dislike how waves have set up their plug-ins enabler / authorisation/ ilok pending proceedures. And lets not start on the WUP plan. Oh well here we go again another day wasted fixing up waves plug ins.
But I did like the GTR solo and will plan on using . I liked the sync feature in the Tempo related stomp boxes. Works really well.
Cheers

Waves GTR solo **WARNING**
Just found out what the catch is.
They uninstalled my version 5 and replaced it with version 6 enabler rendering all my plug-ins useless.
I read all the fine print before doing this even read the read me file before doing it and it said nothing about this.
Now I will have to delete version 6 lose GTR solo and reinstate my ver 5 plugins.
For those who have let there WUP expire there will now be a fee to upgrade their WUP to then reinstate theor plugins that they already owned (or should I say are licensed to use).
Luckily I have a few months left on my WUP plan to start the long winded process of getting back to where I started.
I should have been enticed by the word free and I will learn form this lesson. (At least for the next 2 weeks before I get tempted again).
Cheers

WUP, don't get me started. WUP is the reason I don't get Waves plugins. Don't mind paying for upgrades but I don't like buying back my pluggers over and over again, especially the ones I bought like 10 years ago.

Yep. Uad all the way. I have the waves SSL bundle and it never gets used anymore.
