Wurlitzer Electric Piano Sustain Pedal Wanted / DIY ?

I picked up one the other day on the cheap, and have been physically cleaning it up & tuning it etc.. It's coming along nicely.. 35+ years of grime sure takes a bit of scrubbing to get off.

But.. It does not have a sustain pedal... I see that they are about $300AU locally for a re-issue.. Anyone seen them for cheaper?

Has anyone ever made their own or seen links to making your own?
