Far out, I looked for an AWA Big1 limiter for a year and a half with no luck. Then all of a sudden I found about 8 of them,
and now its seems they are everywhere. Cool limiter with the mods. Jump on this one people!!!!

Hi there,
I've got offers on the API 2500
and the Chandler Germ....I need to get an offer on the AMS RMX 16 ...otherwise i can't get what I want to buy (and so i won't be selling this other gear either !)
Anyone want to make offer on the AMS ?
(These things are only going up in value...usually $2500-$3000 US !)
Cheers

Just useless info I found on the web.
In 1970 I could buy lunch all week for $10 and I think petrol was 35 cents a gallon. So that would mean the AWA is worth $45,000.00 now.

Just useless info I found on the web.
Back then the average weekly wage was $65.40 so the AWA Big 1 cost aprox six and a half weeks wages.( not including the prog. module......never did like prog anyway:)........
The average weekly wage in Australia is now $1181.60 so in relative terms the Big 1 is worth $7680.40
Shit! If i had a spare $1500 i would be putting it down.
[ Note: maths dont come naturally for me so someone may find my calculations a bit off??]

Thanks for the calculation but it might as well be $45K because I can't afford the $1,500 starter fee.

Hi there nIC,
Sort of like you and the HD2 !
I want something expensive and have to sell this other stuff (that I don't want to sell !)
I'd even buy your Blue Kiwi if I wasn't trying to scrape this money together.
(sometimes it would be nice to have a credit card ;-)
Cheers

Nymo mentioned it was black with VU's so I'm guessing... Alesis 3630 with special "VU Mod"!!!!
I would love to buy the AMS. I've always wanted one, but I've already comitted to buying another M7. Iasked Casey to put a non lin in the Bricasti cause I love the AMS one. He told me to go buy a gate. :D

Hey Nymo, there is an impulse resonse set available for free from Acousticas. We've A/B'd them using waves IR verb as the host and while they are not quite as good and only mono sends, not true stereo, a lot of the short spaces and ambiences are very useable.
