a mate of mine has a u-87 silver ( old series with the battery mount inside )
he is looking for $ 2500 ono
is apparently in good shape and here in sydney call me if your looking for one and i will join the dots for you
he was talking about it going on ebay later in the week
.nb this is not my mike and at this stage i have never seen or heard it
but this fellow is straight up

That's a decent price for a great mic IMO.
If I didn't have two (U77) I would be on it.
