That's a basic question, I think you'll have to wait for it to become active to ask it. :P

oooh, nice

many a time I've been tempted to noob up here and drain the brains of those more experienced than I.

But I've held off, cos while I know I'd quite likely get a lot of help (buried amongst the appalling gags), I've always thought of this forum as a place for like minds to gather and shoot the shit, rather than a place for those minds to get asked dumb questions.

Having a sub forum where those who want to give assistance, advice and time can do so, will hopefully be positive for all. Let's just hope the noobs like me don't abuse the privilege.

So I guess the first question raised should be the first question of audio engineering 101:

"Where can you get a decent quality lava lamp?"

Cool.......... i too need a lava lamp. Must be original class A discreet, transformer, balanced, etc......

........ speaking of oil and water, i was at the Corner hotel a few years ago recording a show with Spectrum and Madder Lake and the light show was all 70's legit complete with color mixing with the trays in the mens loo, etc. Took me way way back.

The sub forum is a great idea.
Even olds need to ask a newb question once in a while, especially if you are tacking something outside your usual modus operandi.

I was looking for a lava lamp on ebay and none of them looked authentic. Where do I get an authentic looking one.
