Any good assistants around?

If anyone knows of any good - I mean really good assistants needing work in a studio?
Local area Sydney based.
There is an abundance of average assistants looking for jobs - its hard to find the shining lights who want to be a plus for a studio - and bring something to the table....like dedication to a career and a facility.

Was going to suggest the same. Jamil is a great guy to work with, very talented at production also.

Chris no stealing my assistant ok. Awww ok then you can borrow him if I can play with your neve. :)

C'mon - keep em coming
All our good assistants find they are working as engineers in no time - hence the reason to fill their shoes.
Must know Protools well -
have the right "vibe"
Preferably young / dynamic
Enjoy cleaning up - often! - being able to actually see a mess is an advantage!
tea making skills not considered important ....
get on with 8 other engineers - and my dog..

Martin on here is a good suggetion too. He's operated for me on Tools when I've been recording up in Sydney, not sure what his plans are atm. I'll let him know.

There is 2 guys trying out at the moment
Not sure if there is more to come
Sam (from BJB) is handling all the interested assistants and juggling getting them in on the right sessions - not just making tea.

there are 2 new guys trying out now
BJB is always looking for new assistants, but as you can understand we are all very fussy about "the team" so we all need to be really into the assistant as a person irrespective of their skills. After all, at times we will be working side by side for endless days/months - so the right type of vibe from the assistant is important for all who work here and our clients.
And then there is the skills.....
