Reaper and PT on MacIntel

Chiming in a little late but man.... 192? And it's going to wind up on iTunes right?

I'm putting a project together now and if it wasn't for the Blu Ray component that forces me to go 24/96 I can promise you I'd be doing it at 24/48 (DVD).

Good point.

Winding up at a 128kbp Mp3 file ripped in windows media program (shudders) should negate ALL benefits and don't get me started on crap space players either....................

Ok..just installed Reaper (Mac) for the session tonite...crashed in less than a minute..ulp !!
(Back to PT for me :)

Hi there,

Just as an addendum to last nites session....everything went off without a hitch using PT.

He had 2 stems @ 192k.... drums and guitars / string backing.. i recorded about 8 tracks of vocal takes.

Interestingly when I bought up the 192k stuff he said he could *hear the difference between
96 and 192k* and the 192 *helps with accuracy of the panning * (mezed)

As usual, I learn something new everyday ;-)
