ProTools HD system?

Postby Brad » Mon Oct 19, 2009 12:18 pm

Hiya y'all,

I have a Digidesign HD1 system I'm attempting to part with.

Consists of an HD core card (PCIx) and a 96I/O.

It's authorised for ProTools 7.4, and I can chuck in a G4 1.25 dual Mac, although it will run in a G5 or a PCIx endowed PC.

Any takers? Anyone?

Contact me via phone if you're interested as I don't hang around forums if I can avoid it.

Here's the thing: I've had so many conflicting opinions as to what it's worth that all I can do is ask for offers.

I just don't want to put it through the eBay sausage factory.

Ok, $80 cash and 5 gourmet sausages.

(It was 6, but I had to try out how good they were, and they are real tasty.. had sultanas and indian spices.. they had this real nice caramelisation thing going on in the pan..)

I'm sure Matt will come along soon and up it to $100 and throw in some Iced Vovo's if you're lucky. But he's probably busy watching MacGyver.

Gosh I don't eat any of that stuff, but sure, I'll keep a lookout for Matt and his biscuits.

Well, someone somewhere voted them "Best Sausage 2009" and I have to say, I agree with them..

But less talking about Sausages, and more about Tools HD.

Hi there,

Brad, I would be ringing Turramurra to get a current retail price.
(as you're most probably aware , the retail dropped by 50% last week)

Watch out NAMM ;-)

Thanks Tim,

A fellow called about the rig half an hour ago and paid a similar compliment.

A bit strange at first, as it's not often that I/we hear these things.

Cheers :)

I reckon a fair price at least what HD systems are going for.

Core card PCIx.............................$2,500.00
Digi 96IO.....................................$1,600.00
The Mac..... really not worth much I'm afraid. You can get G5 Dual 2 gig with 2 gig ram for $800 -$900.

Hi Brad,
$180 for the lot. I'll even throw in a vintage packet of Iced Vovo's. But hurry before I change my mind.
