That Thread

Postby Chris H » Tue Oct 27, 2009 5:56 pm

Such a tragedy......... "That" thread had to disappear into the ether, taking with it the our little friend, the wanking squirrel and his frantic efforts to pronounce freedom for the masses......... emo con's..... and the dizzy intellectual heights of my reference to coprophagia. Ah well..... you'll probably call me a wanker now,....such is life.

gee it's been quiet around here today:)

Was that my EMI mastering EQ thread?
I was looking forward to reading more chat on these interesting, great sounding, but arguably too expensive modules this morning but pfffft.... gone.
Not very impressed I must say (adds 'grrr' emoticon).

I promise to play nice. (hee hee)

In the beginning was .........THE WORD...........Not quite sure what you are getting at Angus, but if i offended you, the monkey or the clown, i am sorry as it was unintentional.
For what it's worth, the thread wasn't pulled for reasons of light hearted banter.
After my clown post i looked up an old thread where someone else mentioned the clown avatar and Adam mentioned it was a pic of him clowning about so i now realize he may have been offended at my reference to coprophagia.Iwasnt refering to him, just the avatar, without realising they were one and the same. So i apologize if that's the case.
As for the emo cons, i hope their exit is permanent.

As long as it doesn't get me banned I'm in.

What about as long as it doesn't wreck other people's discussions?

I guess the mods could have edited out the crap and left the info about the TG gear!
Oh well, off to the ether...

Still, a lot of bolony about emoticons probably didn't help.

If you can't talk about vintage mastering eq on an audio forum, especially an unusual pair for sale Down Under, then I don't know what.

I wouldn't pay $99,000 either:

hey guys can you do me a favour , just leave the damn ebay auction out of the forum as well as the pissing monkeys

last time you guys trashed the "other" local mastering company before i got around to editing it
the owners trashed me very hard publically threatened to sue etc etc

which was ridulous but frankly is something i never want see happen again .

this forum links to he interweb really quickly and doing a search of ebay emi units bounced right here into the laps of the pissing monkey .

ok - we all clear why its gone ?

maybe it would have gone unnoticed with out the monkeys and us just having a general chat .. but geez imagine if I was your competiton and you were trying really hard to sell something and when your prospective buyers were searching for info you came into that thread? which was right off the rails and point by the time i was contacted
f@#$ the local conflict thats not what the forum is for

lets talk about it the later in life when some rich goon pays the asking price , and i dont look like the big guy "kicking " the little guy for a laugh !
while we are at it lets never talk about the pissing monkey or dancing M&M again as well they are not coming back.
