Australian Recording Studio Blacklist

"People who book studio time then fail to show up without phoning the studio will have their names placed on the Australian recording studio blacklist. This will make it difficult to book studiotime with many other studios in Australia."

Anyone heard of the alleged existence of this blacklist before?

I've not heard of it. I can't imagine a studio would turn away a client just because they cancelled. It would seem a little silly to ruin all possible future income because of a cancellation.

This website looks slightly dodgy. Anything where you fill in a form and click 'send'.... then look at the fine print and it says once you click send you agree to pay $400..... methinks is a shade..... shady?

Mabey they should have a black list for studios too!

for studios who's recordings suck, or are unreliable.

That rings a bell, I think she was a vocal coach who posted at the MARSH or something.
