Yeah, doing good so far. Had 2 rounds of chemo, 4 to go, every two weeks. First week is pretty much a write off, all I do is sleep but the second week I can do stuff. Even got a gig this week which is nice. Great crew who will do all the work and I just supervise. Hoping to be sitting on your couch before Christmas with that album finally finished too.

It's early days but blood tests are coming back positive so far, my body appears to be responding and strangely enough my white blood cell count is still ok, (it usually gets wiped out in chemo) which means my body is fighting too. The support from people has been overwhelming. It's pretty humbling.

it all went out at or below 2nd hand wholesale
( ie at least 100% less then retail ) normal thing for one of those auctions
there were lots of big consoles, i think the biggest bargain was the amex 60 chn mozart went for $1250 !

well they go cheap because really, what home/project guy is going to have the space (or the need) for a 60 channel console? but if i had've been there i'm sure i would've bought it and had amek spares for life.

but otherwise, who in their right mind would buy a 60+ channel, mid 80's, english made console?.... oh, yeah, that's right...

however then ssl is now on its way to brisbane to one of the guys on the board so its no longer up for grabs

wow i have had lots of emails about the 24 neotec
i think i really will make that a trm auction !

i will get it delivered to my foyer mid week and post up some pics
it is a neotec elite , or a espirit 24 channel i cannot remember
good looking board if your a neotec fan

- there is always a catch right ..?
it doesnt have a patch bay and it terminates in edacs ( as all pro desks do )
so who ever get it needs to factor that in
price range 3-6 k depending on how it powers up and what happens from there

i promise this one wont end up in brisbane before i post up pix this time :)

trm auction rules get made up and change at my whims
once i figure out whats what with this console i will make up a price and some rules
neotecs are not really my area of expertise
i will leave that up to steve albini to rave about :)
