Computers and Couriers

Postby Benj » Wed Nov 25, 2009 12:10 pm

Hey all, First post here, but I've been lurking for a while. Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for couriers for transporting a G5 plus LCD screen (both in original shipping cartons) from Perth to Melbourne? Or if it's well packed, is it much of a muchness?

cheers,

Ben

It should be fine with whoever carries it, it has already survived thousands of kilometres in the same packaging. Be worth ticking the insurance box and paying a few extra dollars though!

Pack and Send are good.
I've shipped amps, guitars, keyboards from Syd - Melb without a hitch.
You can either pack it yourself (and save some $$) or get them to do the lot and know that its done well also..

Thanks Angus. It's for exactly that reason that I asked.

I have used both Star Track Express and TNT to move computers and editing equipment from Perth to Sydney and Sydney to Melbourne. No trouble with either company and the computers were packed only in their retail boxes. Gear arrived at each location safely and was fully functional. Didn't miss a beat.

Yeah I shipped a G5 in its original box, from Sydney to Melbourne with no dramas at all. Cant remember the courier company but it was one of those I think.
