The SSL is nice, but getting old... so, as you can imaging everything that goes along with old and SSL we experienced. There wasn't a stack of outboard, the producer took a 500 rack in and a few other bit and pieces, pretty good selection of mics. The live room was great! Kit sounded fantastic, but the big surprise was the piano... it was amazing... inspirational even... one of those instruments you know. I was only in a couple of days, and I was either playing bass badly or taking video and photos, but it fairly vibey even if a tad sterile.
Overall, nothing bad to say about the place generally, but not sure if I'd be happy to pay for the downtime while we waited for channels on the desk to warm up. :P

I believe Daniel sold it to a nice old gentleman whose name I don't know if I'm allowed to mention on the TRM forum.... even though I never have/will use/d his services.
:P
Can't remember the Piano brand or the desk model off hand... sorry about that.

Oh dude. that was siiiiccckk! Love the music bro! Love the kick, guitars man! Wow, just loving that track!
The video was immaculent too! Gotta love that shallow depth of field for cinematic effect!
What camera did you use? Canon 5D MkII or 7D?

5D Mkii. I had an old 5D as one of my back-up cameras and traded it in... I LOVE the video on it, especially with some nice glass on it!

Yeah, that was pretty good glass I reckon, pin-sharp!
Man those 5D and 7D SLR's with the video feature are game-changers I reckon! Literally cinematic quality in a hand held!
Beautiful stuff mate!
