Ok first i shall offer my apologies to Rick and you all for degrading the content of this forum, i don't like to get into slinging matches and perhaps in the future i shall place teeth before the tongue when it comes to airing my opinion. I happen to agree with all of the posts here that say this place is a good forum, which is why i am a fan.

Chris, thank you kindly for doing the research that i should have been involved in before ranting in e minor about something i knew little to nothing about other than what i had read on ninemsn<that was not a plug>.

Amazing how it seems to come down to the finance sector everytime. I'm reading old mates blog atm, fascinating stuff. But it leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth every time i read something that re-inforces my belief that money is the root of all evil, well along with reality tv and advertising.

Maybe the 50's 60's 70's music era was an anomaly, a product of a wider cultural revolution where the underground, counter culture created such a groundswell that it overcame and reshaped the wider mass culture.....and now its back to frigin normal with the love of money dictating the outcomes of the music business and most other creative pursuits.
On a positive not many aspects of that cultural revolution are now part of the popular culture , like good food.
