Reaktor 5....help!

Orrite...

does anyone know how to use this beast?

I've opened it up to no Avail several times...its pissing me off...i want to use it badly....

Someone....help....

will purchase beer for said helper and provide some laughs, in trade of some help,

There are several classes of files - I think its instruments and ensembles - an ensemble has inputs and outputs, where an intrument doesn't.

Try opening the ensenbles.

If you are still stuck PM me a landline and I can call you tonight and talk you thru it.

yeah, i've opened ensembles....but there's stupid shit which doesnt make sense to me....and other simple stuff which is getting in the way....

fpr example, i couldnt make the damn thing smaller....

and other shit like not being able to assign a midi channel to an ensemble and even make any noises with it.....

For some reason NI insist on running all there plug ins in standalone mode prior to using it with your main daw program. If it hasn't been run in standalone first you can end up with crashes and very perculiar behaviour i.e no sound etc.

Dont forget to set your audio and midi out puts.

ahh, interesting, have not done this....

will try ....may explain alot. :-)

and before anyone asks, yes, this is Reaktor 5 which i've paid for!
