Where to buy mic stands and cables?
Looking for quality at a fair price (of course).
I probably need decent stands as they are for drums. Overheads potentially carrying a substantial mic.
Recommendations for dealers and brand of stand/cable?
Thanks, CW.

Always been a fan of the K&M stands. Not sure of a dealer though... only bought a bunch second hand.
I tend to make my own cables, Canare 2 core with Amphenol connectors does the trick for me. Generally looking at between $350 and $400 for 100m of the cable, $4-$5 per connector.

Daniel @ Legacy Audio sells the King Lake mic stands - super heavy duty and very well made = expensive!
Check them out..
As for cables, I use www.puresonics.com.au for mic cables - very quick turnaround and great work, quality connectors (Neutrik) and Mogami cable..
