Wanted to Hire - Neve Pres/ Quality Outboard for live jazz
Hi i have a couple of sessions coming up where myself and the band would like to hire some quality outboard processing and mics/pre-amps.
A few people have suggested Billy Hydes and some other production mobs, just wondering if anyone could suggest some reliable and honest businesses to approach for this.
Cheers

I have some neve pre's and various others, high quality mics, cables etc. I've done quite a wide range of location recording and lots of jazz. if you need to hire some gear or whatever pm and I can help.
Hey Marc what Calrec have you got (minimixer?) and where'd you get it? I'd love to get my hands on one of their small offerings...

hi mate. I got the calrec from a mate in London. Its a killer little mixer. Super compact with amazing sounding mic pres. Its a very clean sound, but not in a sterile way.
I would recommend them.
Yes its the M3 Minimixer. Not so mini in my opinion. 85 cm wide.
Heres a pic to check out.

I'd probably be interested in the Infernal Machine, just for shits and giggles and the opportunity to try one out.

Publison Infernal Machine 90 allegedly awesome, quite rare, and exceedingly shocking to fix. Filed off part numbers. No scehmatics or service manuals.
Yep, I want one, it's called an Infernal Machine for crying out loud.. :D
Need to have a chat with you Marc about having a play with it.

le pooblison... is a true mystery machine.
My one works like a dream. I have a good mate who can actually fix these things..
And yes you are correct in saying that all the chips have the part number filed off. That sure does make fixing them very hard.
As for the console, I have only just got it and its a keeper..
cheers
