Dance, Pop Producers

Postby mark rachelle » Fri Mar 26, 2010 3:53 pm

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone knows of a site for producers like 99 designs, where you post a job (99 designs is about graphic designs) and people send you a sample of the work and win the job.

Alternatively if anyone knows a good dance / pop, up and coming producer who works quickly cheaply and professionally on their own computer , working from home is OK.

Same for other genres too

Thanks All

Actually what I should of mentioned is the specific needs.

We require dance , pop , chill out, indie and acoustic versions of well known songs, both current chart and past hits.

Delivered and finished ,
Needs to be competatively priced finished masters.

Usually we work around getting 100 songs done at a time over a 3 - 4 month period!

Hey Wez

Thanks for asking
well
Still in the music biz, mainly digital content these days, ring tones, itunes ect.
still making some records but mainly for fun, after the last couple of singles i had to do a few years ago, and the constant banging my head against the wall with labels and artists i just needed a break to re-evaluate my life and give away who i was being.

and the time off from making music was great, sold my ssl, let go of "the need" to be someone and needing to own gear, got married and have a child on the way. So thought i'd come back to the Forum and see what everyones been up too!

Are you well?

hey mark, yeah all good... not mastering anymore, couldn't maintain the studio at a level appropriate for serious mastering (and i don't believe in 'budget' mastering).

plus i was really missing the creative side... so back to production and mixing (where there's even LESS money ;-)

but hey, i totally understand about taking a break and working out what you want - letting go of mastering was a huge deal for me, probably a bit like you letting go of the SSL and all that entails. i'm planning to take some time off when i finish the current record... but i said that last time... and the time before that... and the time before that...

good to see you around, don't be a stranger!

cheers, wez
