I'm selling a great Warwick 5-string bass which I bought a couple of years ago from a fellow forum member (Dale/HaDaJa). My current recordings have taken a more mellower turn and I'm moving onto a Nash J-Bass. I've never gigged the guitar, only ever used it in the studio. It comes with a Warwick Rockbag softcase.
I've put some links to some pics of the guitar (these are the pics Dale took when he sold the guitar to me originally). The guitar is still in great condition - there's a minor nick in the wood I'll photograph tonight and upload tomorrow, along with current pics of the bass. I had the active pickups serviced today by Warren at Wild Horse Guitars in Sydney. His only comment was that the guitar could probably do with the barrel jack being replaced, he estimated about $50 - $60. I've replaced 4 of the 5 strings recently (the set I bought did not have a tapered low B, so I've left the original low B on for the time being).
From memory, I think I paid around $1400 for the bass in March '08 when I bought it from Dale. I'm open to offers (but not below $1K) before I eBay it , where a similar one just sold recently for $1500. The guitar is in Sydney, Northern Beaches.
