Need a linear/membrane-type pot....

Postby wez » Sun Apr 25, 2010 9:07 pm

....anyone got one lying around? don't need anything else so don't want to pay big shipping costs for such a tiny component.

like these if you're wondering http://au.mouser.com/search/refine.aspx ... =149762359

need it for a project.... 50, 100 or 150 mm would be cool. actually the rotary ones are pretty funky too.

(of course if someone could point me towards a good local source - the usual suspects don't seem to stock them - that would be great too!)

i'm modding a stylophone... and i thought a pitchbender would be cool. a membrane pot seems like a good, space-efficient way of doing it.

Good one WEZ. Friends of mine, Lovers Electric, featured a stylophone solo in one of their video clips.

I bought my little bro one of the reissue ones. Awesome fun that fits in your pocket.. Good candidate for circuit bending Wez. Let us know how it goes.
