I have an AWA BIG-1 Limiter for sale.

It has been fully re-capped, aligned, attack and release controls added, front panel mains pwr switch, rear panel XLRs and IEC mains socket.

All yours for $1,700

Its a mono unit. Run two for stereo or get rob to fit two into one like he did mine.

Its certainly up there.... Gotta watch it though, can be an aggressive beast.

The 2 jacks are for balanced mono (both are tip and sleeve only) .. one is the in-phase jack, the other is the out-of-phase. Fairly typical for broadcast gear of it's age.

.. and to think I once worked at a transmitter site where a BIG-1 was being used to prop open the door to the generator shed.

I have an identical, Rob-modded Big1 for sale too, in case anyone missed out. only difference is mine has the module on the left, which I think does nothing special (labelled program control module).

I have two, only need one...

$1700, pick up in Sydney preferred.
