Hi guys,
Been looking around for a rack to sit under my desk to start filling with lovely rack mount gear:)
The thing is its not so easy to find a nice one, you can get these frame ones at places like allens music that seem to cost quite alot, ive seen some of these for 500 bucks! I've been looking for rack rails so I can just put together my own racks, google has not been so helpful.
any advice? any web sites or stores I should be checking out?
Thank you! Mark

I took the rear wheels off so it leans back a little. 12RU fit's nicely under my desk.

Factory Sound in South Melbourne (York Street) will sell you rack strips.
I've got a couple of Rast bedside tables from Ikea to be my desktop units, just added rack strips myself. Holds 6ru more or less perfectly inside.

I've also got a 15 ru freestanding one, secondhand off ebays pretty cheap. I'd say that would be your best bet if in no rush.

Thats the way to do it. Just build them your self. Its not hard and will save you alot of money. I built all mine and they are great (......i think so anyway).
