FS: Conn Serenade Organ

Postby Gian » Sun Jul 18, 2010 5:06 pm

My mother in law has a Conn Serenade Organ for sale.

Model: 632
Type: 202
Style: 002
Finish: 033
Serial no: 033

She is in Tamworth (NSW) as am I, and I am trying to help her sell it.

I have no idea how much this is worth.

I think it needs some work as not all the keys in the lower keyboard work.

It has leslie tremolo/celeste effects as well as reverb.
It is solid state.
The bass pedals are 2 octaves and are detachable.
It is heavy.

Here is a link to the pics. Let me know if you can't get to them

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Gian,
This is essentially a church organ, and I've sold a few many years ago. They were built in the 1980's and were quiet expensive back then. Unfortunately repair would be highly unlikely as Conn organs are long gone. The main repairer in the Hunter Valley, and possibly the Tamworth area was Alan Bourne from Bourne Electronics in Newcastle, but I doubt if he repairs organs at all now. It's not a tone wheel Hammond so it's value, even working, to a collector is minimal.
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news.
