I'm also really interested in one of the EVI1000/EWV2000 setups going, but lucky for my bank balance I don't know how to play any wind instruments, letalone a trumpet.

C'mon, you know you want it - they're are both juicy analog synths! EVI system comes with professionally programmed patches I bought from Sam Zambito in the States. make me an offer.

EVI - no embouchure required btw, just like blowing into a straw. 3 buttons - how hard could it be? Even trumpet players can play one!

Sh-2000's are pretty cool.. (Not as cool as the SH-1000, but 2000's do have aftertouch)
I'd buy that if I didn't already have way too many keyboards.
The filter on those guys is truly a thing of beauty.. so much warble and growl and character.
