Yep I have a few more oddball pieces to sell. In the spirit of the forum I thought I would post them here first at what I think are reasonable prices before posting them on the wider webs for a little bit more. No threats of taking them to ebay etc, your choice to buy or not my choice to sell them elsewhere but I always prefer selling to the community rather than the world at large.

Up first a pair of APHEX CX-1 compressor/expanders. These fit the API 500 series and I've had them tested and the meters calibrated. Probably dont need much of a description other than to say they take a little bit of getting used to in terms of operation but they work well and sound smooth at low levels of compression but get really aggressive at high reduction. These units have space on the pcb for mounting a Jensen 123s transformer though these particular units dont have the tx installed. I also have an electronic manual and service documents that also explain how to add the tx which I can send to the buyer.
$350 each or $650 for the pair or really good offer. Thats pretty cheap for a pair of lunchbox comps!

Next a racked pair of Ward Beck m470a Mic Pre's. These came out of custom built consoles for the Canadian Broadcast Corp and feature hammond input transformers, discrete class A differential input, 3 stage hi pass filter, pad, line input and loads of gain. Output is electronically balanced though Dan Alexander carries the optional hammond output transformer for around 20us if you wish to add that. The racking was done by Barney and Gav at Pickstone Engineering and the unit is powered by a JLM 3 rail power supply and an included 24vac plugpack. Its been a solid part of my kit for a few years and it sounds great. There are some cosmetic blemishes and the goo on the left of the modules is where I removed some electrical tape. It'll come off with some alcohol. The modules sell for about 250us so I'll accept 650 for the rack.

Next is a selection of Rebis rackframe modules. Similar to the DBX 900 or the API 500 series these are a proprietary format for putting a lot of processing power in not much rack space. I've got 4 RA203 comp/limiters, 2 RA204 single band Parametric Eqs, 1 RA206 Oscillator and 7 RA201. I do have the rack frame with edge connectors and a power supply for this but thought I would offer the modules individually. The rack frame needs to wired up to either pig tails or a patchbay if it was going to be used. Rebis was bought out by Klark Teknik at some point in the 80's and a number of the Rebis designs were simply ported directly to the KT family with new faceplates. The DN500 is one such example being the Rebis RA303 Complimex circuit with a new faceplate. I did intend to rack the comps into pairs at some stage but I doubt that'll ever happen. I do have schematics though and Rebis did make some gear that featured on some famous albums like 'Tubular Bells'.
Each module has been tested for power on and basic signal function but no thorough testing.
So how about 150 for each compressor, 100 for each eq and 50 for each gate. If someone wants the whole kit with card cage and power supply I'll let it go for 600.

I dont think they link, theres certainly no mention of it in the manual and no button for it. I know that the 500 system caters for linking but I dont think the cx1 takes advantage of it.
They are supposedly designed to emulate the La2a and to have tube overdrive characteristics (says so in the manual) and whilst I don't think you'd ever mistake it for an La2a I doubt it was designed for stereo use.
