Free Neve Pumpkin Cards
Some time back, I won one of Rick's crazy auctions for a pair of Neve 51 series channel strips. They came with 2 Neve EV10852 Pumpkin Cards.
When Rob Beautifully racked them he didn't used the cards.
I doubt I will ever use them so Any T'Rockers with more than 100 posts can have them for Free. Any T'Rockers with less than 100 post must have a very convincing argument. ;-)
Rick, if this is against your law, no worries. Just looking to place them in a good home.
Pick up from Ingleburn Sydney or you'll have to pay for postage.
Cheers

P.S. I'd hate to see these for sale on Ebay.
Hopefully the lucky adopters will use them to build a nice pre and make some music.

Re: Free Neve Pumpkin Cards
Ditto!
Mine arrived today aswell. Kudos for the great wrapping.
I'm afraid mine is heading for Rob Squire, as I wouldn't have a clue where to begin with setting this up. lol!
FYI, I intend on getting it made into a stereo makeup amp, to go after the Passive Mix I purchased from Proharmonic. Just a gain control. Hopefully just a single one for both channels. Nice and simple and my first foray into 'racking old modules'.
As ignorant as I am about these things, I'm impressed that a single card can run in stereo.
Thanks again Peter!

Re: Free Neve Pumpkin Cards
Well, I'd just like to give an update. The pumpkin card was sent to Rob for racking and it's back. Have yet to try it out. Rob made it up with a single red knob with 20db or so of gain with +4/-4 trims for left and right.
The main use will be for makeup gain after the passive mix summing box I aquired off rob. It's branded all nicely so it looks good with the passive mix and is called the "Passive Mix Amp". Nice.
I'm like a broken record, but I still can't sum out of the box, because I'm waiting on my new interface. Can't wait.
But I'm going to give it a try in between the API 512C preamp and the UBK Fatso with DI bass. (BTW, so far I'm loving the UBK Fatso. Only tried it with DI bass at the moment.)
P.S. Thanks again to Pete for the card! Much Appreciated!
