Build this clone of the Fulltone "Obsessive Compulsive Drive" (OCD) over the last couple of days. PCB layout is from diystompboxes, etched it myself.
Good sounding pedal, I have to say. Well worth it for any of you DIY pedal guys.
If anyone decides to do this and wants any info, just get in touch!

"Obsessive Compulsive Drive" ..........sounds like my kind of pedal...by the way what's it sound like? Smooth distortion like an MXR or abit more like a RAT with a bit of edge?

Re: Fulltone OCD Clone
I'm hopeless at describing sounds, but I'll do my best. All I can say for sure is that I like it!
It's basically a really nice, smooth overdrive that ranges from clean/just breaking up to a medium distortion with the gain all the way up. Certainly doesn't get into fuzz territory. It's quite dull compared with other overdrives/distortions, so it nicely tames the top end off single coils. I was playing my tele through it today on the bridge pickup, and the combination of the super twangy single coil on the tele and the rolled off top end of the OCD resulted in a kind of balanced tone but with superb amounts of detail.
Maybe I'll record some clips and post them up here so you can hear for yo'self!
