Ha! I only have the shorts, but mere mention of a beer hat never fails to draw out a party animal

Nick actually wears this while he mixes - something about the fluid dispensing system keeping his brain at optimum mixing temp.

May I suggest Simpson Park in St Peters as a venue? It's a relatively quiet park with 2 free electric BBQ's, toilet block & room for footy, cricket & netball. Even has a basketball hoop. It's shady, child & dog friendly and best of all only 100m from my house. Any ideas on dates?

Alright then...

Simpson Park in St Peters it is. 1pm kick off, straglers will be shot. For those who don't know where that is it's between campbell rd, lackey st and hutchinson st in st peters... I'm sure y'all can look it up on the splinternet.

- Bring the food you want to eat
- Bring the drink you want to drink.
- Bonus points for beer dispensing hats.
- Talk of tape machines and guitars a must.
- Spouses and kids of course welcome, in fact the more the merrier as they will have people to chat to while us t'rockers natter about compressors. I don't have any kids to bring, so if someone knows a place where you can hire them for the day can you PM me?
- Whoever has a footy or a cricket bat, bring it down so I can show you how it's done.

Next Sunday, as Rick suggested is the 17th so put it in yer diaries t'rockers

1PM 17th Oct, Bring food, bring beer, bring kids, bring wife, bring footy.... we're on.

Bugger, I'll be on the road driving back from Melbourne with a car load of Valves and tape machines. Ironically at about 1 pm I should be passing the "Byer Motel", guess I'd better get a photo with my AT magazine :D . Have a beer for me and I hope I can make the next one
