Hey all,
Just got given a set of earphones to review at work. All the sales peple were raving, about the great bass, crisp highs, blah blah blah, basically mimicing the promotional material word for word. I had a listen and immediately was worried about the state of my ears, after a late night mixing session the night before.
Interestingly enough I could not get a response curve off anybody, I finally found one and burst out laughing, possibly the worst freq. response of any product I have ever seen. I can't mention the brand but check out the curve... Bearing in mind these alledgedly have the best sound out of any inears. LOL.

As they are in ears, it may be intentional. Have you noticed how the bass response increases when you push your ear phones firmly into the ear socket. So the response curv is propably tailored to the acoustic of where they are inserted. Just a thought.
