More like 272.6 kilometres from my house.. Would love to be there but that's a long trip for sausages and croquette.

Hmm same here. Due to lugging black boxes in my youth, I will spend most of the time sitting down & enjoying the sports from afar. Way afar.

I am so keen to attend and meet you chaps! But I have a "session" on Sunday afternoon. I use
the word "session" liberally. If it hadn't been planned for weeks I'd bail on it. Next time I'm in
though. :D

Re: SYDNEY Turtlerock BBQ TOMORROW!!! 1pm

Postby rick » Sat Oct 16, 2010 7:58 pm

I met a few unknown forum faces at a auction today
it would be great to met a few more at the BBQ tommorrow
I feel like I have been a bit of a hermit over the last four years
waiting for my kids to be able to run and talk at the same time
well the toddler years are drawing to a close and I promise to be out and about
a bit more
come on by to the BBQ if you can
Nick will be able to fill your head with tales of the things
he learnt at his first ABC Auction:)

i reckon we make the next one the lucas microphone versus beezneez microphone shootout
and just to make it unbelievably unfair and super contentious
i reckon i should get to be the sole judge of which microphone sounds best on the day
the two contending sound categories are
1 male vocals
2 acoustic guitar
in the highly likely event of it being and uncallable decision
ben can take the sound-files and post them up on gearslutz for a real judge to decide

or

we could just bbq sausages and bread rolls and have a chat in the park which ever is more realistic
either way the start of dec is the time
Nick your back in charge again :)
