he now has a consultation on thursday and all being ready with some stuff on friday they have a spot for him for this operation within the fortnight
he just told me this fast timing would not have been possible without us !

No, I'm not in Rotary. My father is, and he is the Speaker Master this year. Meaning he has to find someone to speak to the members each week. This week it's my turn. He asked me to talk about my life long passion of music and guitars. I begrudgingly agreed. I'm bringing my 100watt Plexi to scare the crap out of them.

I hope I'll be able to aquire a bit more cash for Kris. Even though we have made it, a bit extra can kick in for meds or anything else the family needs. Fingers crossed.

Thank yo so much. I just can't find the words to tell you all how much this means to us. When I look at my boys and think of the worst case I crumple and have to leave the room so they don't see daddy upset. I'll do anything, undergo any treatment no matter what it does to my body or my mind.... for them.

You all didn't know this, but I specifically asked God for a way to afford this treatment.... a few days later He sent you guys.

I thought it amazing that you did that video not for yourself but for someone else. And shortly after when a need arose for yourself beyond your immediate ability to meet, it was met in turn by someone (a group of someones) else.

Kris, Keep faith in God and His promise of life and love. It helps immensely. I'm going through the chemo and radiation myself right now.. but because of my faith, strong before cancer, stronger now, I'm doing alright. I feel like crap most of the time and my hearing has been damaged a bit, but it looks like I'll survive. Every day I look at my 4 year old and thank God for everything in my life.. even the cancer. It has been a blessing to me in that God has used it to restore things in my life I might never have gotten to enjoy again.

If someone will PM me the details I'll get the dough out right away.

Amazing stuff..Eversince my son was born 27 months ago, everytime someone mentions, I hear or read about a serious issue in someone's life I think of my son, immediately. They just mean so much to you don't they?

Thanks everyone.

I have a bunch of scans and a 'trial' run on Monday. They need to make sure there's no leakage from the liver to the bowel or lungs. If the radiation leaks to the lungs I could end up with pneumonia, which is very hard to treat when contracted that way apparently. Assuming no leaks then it will be the full procedure, part 1, a week or two after. After that I will be flat on my back for 4 weeks according to the doc.... heavy duty tiredness like nothing else he reckons. Will keep you posted as I'm able.

Hi guys...

Had the trial run today. My body is doing exactly what the doctors want. No leakage into other organs or arteries. All good on that front and I am scheduled for the real deal on November 3rd. Next week.

It was really encouraging to hear how well it works from the guys that do it all the time. It was just a really awful day in terms of the insertion of the catheter into my liver plus all the other stuff. A little anxious about doing it all again but we've got the green light so onwards we go.
