Anyone got a good kit available for hire? I need to do some tests to decide on the best path for some recording coming up. Young drummer and a limited budget means I won't have time to muck about in the studio getting it right, burning $1,300 a day if he doesn't deliver. At least if it's triggered I can fix later at no hard cost. I have some killer samples so sound quality is not a problem, just need to see how the drummer feels behind the kit.

You can always invest in getting a tmc trigger converter and some roland triggers. The D-Drum triggers where great when you could still buy them. They are always handy anyway for doing out there stuff with midi and audio, even if the drummer has got a great sound and feel. tmc's will cost about $400 giving you 6 inputs and whatever trigger you want to add to that as well.

OT, but has anyone else seen these? They look interesting, and they're certainly a reasonable price...
