hi all,

first post, have heard good things about the forum.

putting out the feelers... seeing what's in town (that I'm missing):

which studios in Melbourne deal with the audio side of things for film and video games?

The main big ones (as in size - have mixing theatres) are Soundfirm in Port Melbourne and Music and Effects in Prahran.
They both do film / TV drama. I don't know any video game places. Soundfirm has multiple rooms so usually have more proejcts on
and Roger who owns it does a lot of big films from overseas.
There really isn't a dedicated scoring studio in Melbourne although the ABC's studios at Southbank is where we do bigger Orchestra stuff.
It is a pretty amazing place. Not many music places left like that.. you could just about play golf in the big room...
