9V Lead

Postby Kris » Sat Aug 12, 2006 4:30 pm

I have a Rocktron Voodu Valve and an ART X-15 foot controller that receives 9 Volts down a 7 pin to 5 pin midi lead. I bought a new cable from Rocktron but it's ass about with the power connector so what I need is either a 9 volt female to female barrell (like the ones you get with a 9volt ac adapter) OR a female to female 9 volt lead (about 1 inch long).

Anybody know where I can get one. I'm absolutely useless with electronics and I like it that way so if you know where I might find one that would be cool.

Thanks.

Kris.

You could always give me the Voodu, then you don't need to worry about it ;)

You should be able to get these plugs from Dick Smith (or Jaycar) and a bit of wire but I'm guessing you don't solder by your email...so maybe if you asked one of the local guitar repair places they might make you up one for X amount of dollars. If you lived in Perth I'd give you one but its probably quicker to find someone local.

Actually, Perth's not a bad idea. I know the guys at Music Park ( I bought my entire rig from them years ago) I'll give them a call.

Cheers.
