one of the guys at the studio i'm at got given a AKG d30 mic from his dad who used it many years ago as a broadcast mic...

all we have is the mic and the box no leads etc...

after a bit searching discovered alot of places use it as a kickdrum and bass cab mic but no specs except a brochure in german...

will get some pics of it up asap, interesting bit of gear, looks like it came out of an army surplus store!

can anyone shed some light on this bit of gear? what type of leads it needs??

cheers

Apparently it's a dynamic mic so I suppose you could jerry rig wires into the holes and see if it works before trying to either replace the plug with a standard one or track down a connector with odd flattened pins.
