so i've finally bit the bullet and bought Protools 9.

need it for an upcoming project.

the 3rd party interface support is the thing that finally convinced me to stop fighting against it. i actually would've bought it years ago if they had this feature when i set up my first recording rig.

i digress a bit, i wanted to ask those with more experience with this program, is it fine to be running it on 2 different machines? i just did the registration process and was wondering if it was going to be a problem running it on my laptop and my tower?

just a simple one, appreciate any opions.

cheers,

todd.

You are using an iLok right? so the main feature of the ilok is it allows you to use the program on multiple machines but not at the same time. Its great for me as I have a laptop for location/performance work and a mix suite at home on a HD rig. The ilok allows me to take my licenses wherever I go.
