What Tele is this?

Watching some Chuck Ainlay clips on youtube and noticed this great sounding (and looking) telecaster, can anyone tell me what model it is? Has a neck humbucker and 2 single-coils.

Don't know but it seems to have Seymour Duncan minibucker in the neck and I've not seen that as a Fender standard issue.

It looks like a Nashville Tele with a mini humbucker retro-fitted. A Nashville Tele (I happen to own one) has the traditional Tele bridge pick up, but then it has a strat style pick up in the neck postition & an additional one in the mid position. I've heard of guys fitting minis in the neck position before, and apparently it's supposed to sound great. I installed a different kind of mini, from a Les Paul Deluxe, in the neck position of a 60's Maton hollowbody & it sounds awesome. The mini in your picture looks like the type that you would find in a Firebird. Seymour Duncan make both types.

Do you know the name of the guitar player, or the youtube that photo comes from? I'm sure he's a guy I met in Nashville in '07.

It's J.T Corenflos

Here's an article on him...

Yep, that's the guy. At the time he was playing a Les Paul through a Marshall Plexi, not what I expected for Nashville Country, but you could tell straight away that, even though he was playing in bar, scratch band, he was something special. Like most session players, he jumps in with bar bands to keep his chops. On the night I spoke to him after the set, and the Aussie accent got him straight away (never fails, especially with women (so I've been told, dear)). Chatted for about 10 minutes. quite an interesting chap.
