Hi all,
After some recomendations. I would like some insurnce for musical instruments and studio gear, fire theft and damage, and travel and gigs.....
I have gear that does alot of travelling at the moment I have gear in sydney, melbourne Dubbo and Adelaide
I find a few insurance companies wont do insurance to and from the gig etc....

NRMA allow me to add my recording gear and musical instruments to my home contents policy as "specified portable valuables" which worked out cheaper for me than getting a new policy altogether.
Last time i checked it was one of the few companies that allowed musical gear to be a "specified portable valuable" on a contents policy - most insurance companies red flag the idea and draw the line at musical gear...

I can recommend Marsh, they are in SA. Unfortunately i've had to make a claim and know others that have too and they have been great.
