Kris and I have just tried out the new Pacifica stereo pre. Very smooth, Neve sounding, built like a brick out house. No need for heaps of EQ with this box...mind you we used the Brauner Phantom C which is a very bright mic.

Very nice indeed. I also liked the A-Designs red lunchbox unit. If you need pre's for hire, call Nick.

Hey Nick, yeah was a great weekend, geez we tested some great stuff, was great to meet everyone. I'm gonna get that Daking pre/eq over the next month or so, I loved that too. Louis and Steeve are already keen on the next shootout, can't wait, now we'll have to start thinking what gear and which suppliers to ask next for gear.

The into price For $1860 what ever is condition. Money upfront, delivery early November. It goes up $600 more.
