Re: Wanted: DB25 to .....
Hi Ben
I have sourced these previously from Sound Devices in Sussex St Sydney.
I think the brand was Hosa and came in a 3 metre length... don't quote me on that.
You could make them up yourself but those DB25's are bitch to wire up.
Here you go...
http://www.videoguys.com.au/Shop/c/424/ ... ables.html
OK... one thing to be aware of is the way the DB25 is wired... there are different protocols such as Ta@#$%, Sony, Digidesign.
Check the manual of the gear you're connecting to... The connector pinouts should be in the back of the manual.
Then check the Hosa website for the pinout connections on the DB25.
The Hosa snakes were fine for a fixed installation... not sure how they'd be for live use, in relation to being abused.
Hope this helps

Daniel at Legacy Audio has the Ta@#$% config DB25 to TRS.
They're used in the Hearback sytem - about $70 or thereabouts.

Cheers Graeme
It's always worth a stop through the classifieds on the way to the shop. I've started ringing shops this morning and so far no answer at Legacy or Sound Dev.
