Think you might find that whats missing from these to make them work is a 240 to 100V transformer, the pre's have 100/110V pwr trannies on board, the step down transformers was seperate, in the bottom of the recorder case, which also fed the transport section of the recorder. The seller advises that there is 240V tap on the pre transformer, but I believe this is the secondary feeding the B+ supply.
And there are no audio transformers, it only provides for unbalanced in and out.

I have three pairs one of which has been modified to work as mic pre by Dave McCluney, it sounds great and looks very cool. Someday I'll get the others modified too and then I'll have more lumps of metal that does stuff that I dont use.
