How's the EQ? What parameters?

Here is the EQ parameters from the manual for the RL1 RN modules, the Neve designed discreet modules.

High and low pass filters; Low pass swept 25Hz to500Hz@12dB/octave.
High Pass swept 2kHz to 20 kHz @12dB/octave,

The filters to S/C switch puts the filters into the virtual dynamics sidechain

A four band semi parametric EQ with seperate in / out switch.

HF sweep range 2kHz to 20kHz, boost/cut +/-18dB. Bell/Shelf switch selects between bell or shelf curv shape.

HMF. sweep range 500Hz to 4 kHz boost/cut +/-18dB. The Q factor continuously variable from 0.6 to 2.1.

LMF sweep range 100Hz to 1 kHz boost/cut, +/-18dB.
Q factor, 0.6 to 2.1

LF, sweep range 30Hz to 300 Hz boost/cut +/-18dB, Bell/Shelf switch.

So there is a lot of controll at hand, the EQ sounds good. Still early days for really sussing it out, but last week for fun i pulled up a mix i did in logic and turned off all comps, gates, and eq but left on the volume automation and mutes etc. So i did the mix on the console eq, and dynamics. It was much guicker pulling nice sounds on the Ameks eq and the comps worked noticably better than Logic's

The RL 1 modules, op amp design, have the following specs:
Low pass 800Hz-20kHz@12dB/octave, high pass 20Hz-1kHz@12dB/octave.
HF sweep range 1.5kHz to 18kHz +/-18dB, Bell/Shelf switch.

HMF450Hz-8kHz, +/-14dB switched Q of 0.7 or 2.

LMF80Hz-1.5kHz, +/-14dB switched Q of 0.7 or 2

LF 30Hz -350Hz +/-18dB, bell/shelf switch.

Damn, looks like you don't need aircon to run it either. And compressors too?

I want one!

Yeah! But depending on the EQ, it might even be able to do things sonically that an SSL can't.... that would be pretty cool.
