It's ace. One deadline a day. Nock off at 2-3pm, then go home and completely forget about it. No stress. No bullshit. No Alchemedia.

The CT110 is the SM58 of the motorcycle world. Basic but wonderful.

Totally - it's like urban trials riding - it's incredible how slow you can go and still stay upright. I do some semi-rural areas on my round too though, so I get a bit muddy too! :ymparty:

Some friends of mine rode two ct110s through the red centre and back via the oodnadatta track. Anything that can do that is pretty impressive in my book. The chaps came back with arses of pure hardened rubber too...

I've always dreamed of doing the Postie Bike challenge. Hell of a challenge, but it's all for a worthy cause. Next year is Perth to Broome.

Slightly on topic for a short confession.

I rang Alchemedia today asking if the mag was ok as I had heard rumour some name contributors may not be appearing in the future, and I had literally only just renewed my subscription and was concerned about its ongoing quality as a result [truthfully, I am considering cancelling my subscription based on that growing list]. The guy acted very surprised.. so now I feel somewhere between embarressed and guilty. I hope it doesn't, but the hugest apologies if this ends up coming back to anyone in the wrong way.

Now I really do feel like a beer.. or 6. x_x

Rob too eh?

I've been into a little Belgian number dubbed 'Classe Royale' - it's the 'e's that make it classy you know.

4.3% alcohol by volume and a mere $30/case - water, barley, hops, malt - what more does one need?

What amazes me is how a ship brings this stuff into Australia, yet VB is forty freakin' dollars a slab!

Regarding the CT110; it's actually only 105cc - yet I hear on the grapevine there's a new model in the works with fuel injection, disc brakes, and alloy wheels - I kid thee not! However, recent models of the current CT110 are manufactured in China, and you can really tell the difference between the two models.

Regardless, what I like most about the CT110 is how good it makes my bike feel when I get back on it after a day of hammering the postie bike about. :D

Thanks Nymo, appreciated.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but are you the 'Nymo' that worked in Palings/Brashes in the late '80s/early '90s who used to give me tips?

Hey dan i would Not worry too much , about
Your subsrcription audiotech have their own race to
Run and So does anybody that used to or continues
to support them
There will be a long list of guys that have to figure out what
Is right for them

But I would not be surprised at anything anybody at
Alchemedia says , to anybody about anything
Wether the surprise you found by calling them up cold
was real or not ?

There is nothing to be done about the past
It seems we all agree life is too short to drink bad beer

I have had a hell year and going forward i will be holding
Anybody and everybody i deal with on any level
To account .. If you are one of the good guys
Then i will back you and expect the same in return
Its not too much to ask , i have been giving out freely
For a very long time in this business
My bed is well and truely made
So i figure i can throw all the stones i like
I do not live in a glasshouse

But if you spend more time on the other side of the fence
Personally i am done with that kind

They might be a bit surprised at what i have to say
But you guys wouldnt be

Integrity is what you do when nobody is looking :)

Would be very easy to set up, so long as money wasn't the object.

Have built a couple of online publications for research journals in the past year, the most difficult thing is settling on a design that's easy for screen reading of long articles.

I read this this once a week and enjoy the various links and articles/videos. Was developed for the local Brooklyn/NYC scene but has spread it's wings to the international community.
Perhaps too many sponsor's logo's everywhere but the general intention is good.

This one came up recently. Again put together by Justin Colletti (of sonicscoop). Brooklyn has become a great little studio community due to the efforts of everyone pulling together. I was there in April and it's got such a great vibe. Everyone is busy making music and making it work.

Back to beer;
Corona on hot summer arvo's.
