Logic 9 on App store $199

just a heads up that pricing for Logic 9 seems to have taken a bit of a nose dive and is now available from the app store for US $199 http://www.apple.com/logicpro/ (thought you might make up the difference in bandwidth downloading the additional content).

Whats the learning curve like form Pro Tools?

Steep – more so than, say, DP in my experience.

For the last three years or so I've been using Logic for sequencing / drum programming type stuff and PT for recording / editing / mixing.

Have recently tried to migrate to Logic for mixing as I've found it offers me a lot more creative potential out of the box than PT. However I've also found it mysteriously buggy and infuriating for some tasks and still favor PT for edits / tracking.

Who cares, for $210 its a bargain. For creativity Logic is King.
