WTB - P&G Faders

Postby Linear » Thu Apr 12, 2012 7:32 pm

Hi,

I'm looking for some P&G faders - specifically PGF 3220 D/M - 100mm 10k log.

Let me know if anyone knows of anything! I'm after about 20. And yes, I know about Control Devices.

Cheers

Chris

I'd put a note up on group-diy, I've seen P&G faders there from time to time.

There is a guy on ebay who sells NOS CL22 comps, meters etc - a little while ago he had stacks of faders that seemed to never sell - It may be worthwhile contacting him.
20 is a lot though.....
best of luck!

Hey Chris - what did you do when you diced the VCA automation of the Coronado? Did you slug the linear faders?

It's a real shame because I'll have 40 beautiful Gliss Audio wirewound faders that I can't use because they've got the wrong taper.

Our tech bypassed them with a couple of wires - I was surprised that it was so easy.
No idea exactly how he did it as I am a tech dummy.
Sounded much more open without the VCA's (yuk)
Cant remember if the faders were changed though - it was many years ago.
Very much worth looking into.

Hi,

Ironically enough, they're linear faders. I'd have to say the best looking, sturdiest and well built faders I've seen, make's a P&G fader look kinda flimsy.
